SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — A 28-year-old Canton man has died following a workplace accident in Southfield, authorities said.
Police identified the victim as Adam Cinzori, who was fatally injured Friday evening in a parking lot north of the Kroger store at 12 Mile Road and Evergreen Road. Cinzori was working as a snowplow driver at the time of the incident.
According to police, Cinzori was performing maintenance on a front loader when the accident occurred. Investigators said he was positioned beneath the heavy equipment when a component unexpectedly lowered, trapping him underneath. Emergency responders were called to the scene, but Cinzori later died from his injuries.
Police said there were no indications of foul play and that the incident appears to have been accidental. The case remains under routine investigation, and authorities emphasized there is no evidence of criminal activity.
